2021 October — Portfolio Update
A few months passed since my last portfolio update. However I continued to invest some money despite being much less.
In the last 5 months I invested a total of 1220€ instead of the 3000€ (I committed myself to invest 600€/month).
Major changes in the last 5 months:
- I only have 3 cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Cardano and Ethereum.
- The little I invested, most of it was in the stock market: 970€.
- I only have 7 stocks at the moment, mainly on the tech sector.
- Changed my ETF investment to iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF USD (Acc).
- Invested more 150€ on Crypto.
- Invested more 100€ on P2P.
Profit in recent months
Since the beggining of the year (last 10 months):
- Total invested: 4250€
- Portfolio Value at 01/2021: 4936€
- Portfolio Value at 10/2021: 16227€
- Profit: 7041€
The profit is huge! Mainly due to the growth of cryptocurrencies. The stocks also contributed a bit, more than 10% (which is also very good).
I invested since the beginning of the year a total of 4250€. The main goal is to put 7200€.
2021 has been a good year.
Current Portfolio Value
Despite of the few investments I made, in general my portfolio value growth about 50% in the last 5 months. Imagine if I had invested more!
Due to the recent growth of cryptocurrencies, these continue to represent the majority of my portfolio.
Crypto Currencies (52%)
The main changes on my cryptocurrencies portfolio was the purchase of Cardano (ADA). I believe in the project so I’m making a bet on it. I have at the moment 393 ADA.
Stocks (35%)
I restructure my stocks portfolio to the only following products:
ETFs (7%)
I had the ETF ISHSIII-CORE MSCI WORLD U.ETF. This is an ETF that groups the largest companies worldwide. This ETF pays dividends, but for me I prefer to have an ETF that accumulate value, on other words, to reinvest the dividends at their own value.
At the moment I’m focused on the growth of my portfolio value, so I prefer to re-invest everything I make from my investments. Receiving dividends also means paying taxes.
So, I bought 16 units of the same ETF (iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF USD (Acc)), but the accumulative version.
P2P Lending (5% of my portfolio)
No big changes in the last months. Added only more 100€ to Bondora and Mintos, 50% each.
